For Caitlin Rose Photography, we used our Nyx Squarespace Template as the starting point and gave it a full glow-up for her wedding photography brand.
The original template gave us a strong foundation to work from, with image-focused layouts, beautiful page flows, and plenty of built-in strategy. From there, we shaped the site into something that felt refined, romantic, and totally aligned with Caitlin’s work.

Caitlin is the photographer behind Caitlin Rose Photography. Her work is romantic and elegant, with a style that blends classic wedding photography with soft, nostalgic storytelling. Our Template Full Style Process
Step One: The Prep
Every Template Full Style project starts with our guided prep process where we gather everything we need to bring the website to life!
Caitlin completed our project brief workbook, which helped us get super clear on her ideal audience, photography style, website goals, visual preferences, and overall vibe. This step is all about making sure we understand the brand before we dive into the design, so we’re not just making something pretty, we’re creating something that actually feels aligned and works perfectly for her business.
For her template base, Caitlin chose our Nyx Squarespace Template.
Nyx was such a great fit for this project because it has a bold, editorial, image-led structure, with plenty of space for beautiful photography, storytelling sections, and clear calls-to-action. It gave us a strong foundation to build from, while still leaving plenty of room to make the site feel completely on-brand for Caitlin.
Step Two: Design Days
Once the prep was complete, our team jumped into our dedicated design days and started shaping the creative direction.
We began by creating the mood board and overall visual style for the site, pulling inspiration from Caitlin’s dreamy wedding photography and the soft, romantic feeling she wanted her brand to convey. From there, we chose the font direction, color palette, and styling details to guide the rest of the website transformation.
We also created a simple, elegant logotype to help the site feel more polished and cohesive, then started customizing the Nyx template to suit Caitlin’s brand.
Throughout the process, we kept in touch with Caitlin through regular check-ins to make sure everything felt on track and aligned with her vision.
The goal was to create a website that felt timeless, feminine, and a little nostalgic, while still feeling warm, strategic, and ready to help Caitlin book more dreamy wedding clients.

When Caitlin came to us, she was ready for a website refresh that felt more current, professional, and aligned with where her business was headed.
Her existing website was built on the older Squarespace 7.0 version, and the overall style was starting to feel a little outdated. As a wedding photographer, Caitlin needed a site that could do more than simply exist online.
