In this interview with Morgan, we chat a little bit about her business, but mostly about the process of setting up her site with our Squarespace template kit, Sophie. What do you do/what is your business?: I'm a destination wedding photographer!
What or who inspires you the most?: I love 90's romcoms, traveling, and being outside. Being able to combine my love for these things into a career is a dream come true! My goal is always to make people feel confident in front of the camera so that when they look back on their photos they see themselves - not stiff, awkward poses. Incorporating quirky humor + an adventurous spirit fosters room for that to happen!

Why did you choose that particular template?: I needed a photography-centric template that could be customized to fit my needs!
Why did you want a new website?: My previous website didn't have a level of consistency I was aiming for. Using a template allowed me to achieve a cohesive brand look on all pages of the site.
Why did you choose to purchase one of my templates, rather than a competitors?: The price was a key factor, and the ability to use it on Squarespace versus the templates solely made for WordPress. I needed something that would feel clean yet custom - that's exactly what I feel I've created using this template!
How did you feel before you created your new website?: I knew that I had the skills to customize my website, but I felt frustrated putting it together piece by piece. It wasn't coming together in a cohesive way, and it was taking so long to create by myself! I needed a website redesign, but knew that having someone else design it for me could cost hundreds- or thousands- of dollars. I needed to find a solution that was cost-effective, easy to implement, and could be made to match my brand.
How do you feel now that you have launched your new site?: I feel confident showing my website to potential clients now! It showcases my best work in a beautiful layout with colors and textures that provide warmth and depth.
How do you think your business is going to benefit from your new website?: My website is likely going to see an increase in traffic - which means I'll end up booking more clients! Having a professional looking website is such a game-changer, and really elevates my photography more than a basic website would.
How did you find the whole Squarespace Template process from purchase to launch?: It took 2-3 days for me to implement the entire template which was so exciting! The process was pretty straightforward!
What's your fav series on Netflix right now?: The Crown and The Great British Baking Show!
